To start off our third day in Spain, we head to the Arc de Triomf. This is a memorial arch that was built back in 1888 for the Barcelona World Fair. It's the entranceway for the Ciutadella Park.
Arenas de Barcelona is a commerical shopping complex in Plaça d'España. It's fairly popular, even with the locals.
Torres Venecianes is the name of the pair of towers that sit in Plaça d'España.
This square is dedicated to Josep Puig i Cadafalch, a Catalan contemporary architect of Antoni Gaudi.
This is yet another captivating square. I know there are a lot of these in this blog, but we see them and at least pass by them really often.
We've arrived to our second art museum in this blog. The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya is another beautiful art museum.
Montjuïc Castle is a really pretty, historic castle. It's an old military fortress from at least 1640 turned tourist attraction. In my opinion, even though it is an aged military fortress, it's still really pretty.
Mercat de Sant Antoni is another food market in our list. These food markets are fantastic, regardless if you're there for the food or just to marvel at the place.
This is the end of our Day 3. Lots of pretty sights to see in Spain, and much more to come.
