We start out Day 2 in Montserrat at the Montserrat Monastery. Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey is a beautiful abbey. It contains a breathtaking church known as Basílica de Montserrat. At the back of this church is the Black Madonna, which is representative of the Holy Virgin Mary in Christianity.
Plaça d'España is another important square in Barcelona.
Now, we move on to Girona. The Banys Àrabs are the remains of Arab baths from a long time ago, up on display for tourists who want to look at the rich history of Spain.
The Sant Pere de Galligants Cloister monastery was built so long ago that only the church and cloister still remain. It's still really nice to see, though.
Galligants Bridge was on our list of places to visit because it's one of the filming locations of Game of Thrones. I'm not a Game of Thrones fan, but it's still really cool to see.
Ferran el Catòlic Street and Archaeological Walk is another filming location for Game of Thrones. Regardless if you like Game of Thrones or not, these sites are still really cool to check out.
The Cathedral of Girona Steps is a wonderful church that has about 86 steps leading up to it.
After Girona, we head over to Tibidabo via the Tibidabo Funicular.
In Tibidabo, we head over to the Tibidabo Cathedral. This is yet another magnificent church in Spain.
This the end of our Day 2. It's not as jam-packed as Day 1, but we still went around and saw lots of places.
